What Somerset is like
Somerset runs from the Bristol Channel coast to the Dorset border, taking in the Mendip and Quantock Hills, the flat Somerset Levels and the edge of Exmoor. Taunton is the county town; Yeovil is the main town of the south; Bridgwater sits near the coast; and Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea look out over the Channel.

Meeting up: Taunton and Bridgwater sit on the M5, which makes them easy halfway points, and Bristol, just over the border, widens the choice considerably. In village Somerset word gets round, so keep first meets in town.
