What Greater Manchester is like
Greater Manchester is ten boroughs that have grown into one city region. Manchester and Salford form the busy core; Trafford and Stockport lie to the south; Bolton, Bury and Wigan to the north and west; and Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside run up towards the Pennines in the east.
The city of Manchester has the most of our members here – single men mainly, but also a real group of single women, mostly on the younger side – with more members spread across Oldham, Wigan, Stockport and the other boroughs.

The eastern boroughs running up to the edge of the Pennines.
Getting around: the Metrolink trams reach most boroughs, the M60 rings the whole conurbation, and the M62, M61 and M56 head out to Leeds, Preston and the airport. Piccadilly and Victoria stations connect to almost every town.
Meeting up: the city centre is easy to disappear into for a first drink, and the trams mean nobody needs to drive. From the outer towns, meeting in the centre means you are unlikely to bump into the neighbours.
